Literature Text

Oh sweet Blue Rose,
With your radiant glow,
That have plentiful hues.
Growing in the forest grove,
Near the ocean's coral cove,
That houses natures muse.
Where the oak trees grow,
Hearing the rapids flow,
Keeping out Man's wrongs.
From winter to the spring,
You the reason the bluejays sing
their angelic songs.

From what I can see,
So very vividly,
It is your belief
That life is full of grief.
Don't be so glum,
Like some sad, ole chum,
There's more to Life
than shame ,scorn and strife.

So sweet Blue Rose,
Let your smile show,
Like the stars in the night.
Let your heart be free,
For now and eternity,
Keeping your soul alight.
So here I say,
We must go our ways,
It is so painful to depart.
But please, don't care for me,
I'm just a nobody,
who has some care in his heart.

Oh, Sweet, Blue Rose
I'll let you go.
From what it seems
You're living your dream.
This is song for a special individual who, to me, is my muse and keeper of my heart. Sadly, I can't confront her on how I feel, for I don't think someone as beautiful can care for a lunatic like me, but I try to keep her as cheerful as I can. Anyway, have a great Valentines everyone and may you all find your special someone.
